Reflection:
I learned that sometimes a bench’s best features aren’t for sitting. I enjoyed this shoot as it brought a new meaning to one of my favorite places. I usually sit at this park and look out at the view, but I was forced to examine the beauty within the park this time. I had to change the way I looked at the objects. I used the aperture to affect my depth of field. Not being able to move my feet challenged me to get creative with my camera. I didn’t look out of the viewfinder for many of my shots but instead used my camera’s screen to identify my subject. The extra reach with my arm extended the size of my studio but also made focusing on the object a challenge. Overall I enjoyed the shoot.
